How I can complete my syllabus?

Many students are asking me the same question. The question is very simple but this question has compelled students to quit their studies. The ratio of third world countries' students is greater than the first and second world. In my own city, my students are also questioning the same as others do. The burning question is "How I can complete my syllabus? Or How I can develop reading skills?".

These questions should be addressed in schools, colleges, and universities as well. I think it is very important to address these questions of students thoroughly. There should be seminars and workshops on these topics (How I can complete my syllabus? Or How I can develop reading skills?). Wherever I am going I am asking the same question that "Can you complete your syllabus timely?" Most of the students are replying with a big No!. Very few students are replying with Yes. Those students who can not complete their syllabus within the stipulated time do not have any daily, weakly, monthly, or yearly schedule, tasks, or goals. They are randomly moving forward. They are following the trends. Their parents are not interested in their children's daily schedule, tasks, or goals. Instead of guiding them on how to read, write, and memorize? Their parents emphasizing they study. Unfortunately, the children become confused. The parent's fear compels them to open the books and start studying but they do not know what to do? how to do? why they should do? Some are going to take coaching classes and some are reading at their homes.

Those students, with Yes answers, do know about daily schedules, tasks, and goals. They have been guided by their parents or good educationists. Their parents give more time to them. After their school timing, they are asking about their schedules, homework, test preparation, and their next day routine. They are sending them to coaching centers on time or home tutors are arranging for their children.  After two or three days parents are contacting the teachers or even then they are visiting the schools, colleges, or universities to ask about their children's performance. Sometimes they are sending their children to attend career counseling, seminars, and workshops then they are asking about them. They are facilitating them with their basic educational facilities such as they are providing reference books, laptops, internet, and coaching.

Now, the students with No answers lack many basic educational facilities although their parents could do, because of lack of awareness they could not able to guide or facilitate their children timely. As a result, they could not able to complete their syllabus or they could become reading habitual. They can not compete, and they can not read interestingly. Then there should be the question on behalf of parents that what they should do? How they can change their children? How they can help their children that they could complete their syllabus easily? There could be a number of questions.

My answer to such questions is that there should be a daily plan and an action plan. It has been said that "Proper Prior Preparation Prevents Poor Performances". For example, I am giving you a daily plan that what should a student do?

First, he/she should practice getting up early in the morning. If he/she wants to get up at 07:00 am then they should tell their mind that they want to get up at 07:00 am. Then their subconscious mind will set up the biological clock and it will fix the time. Finally, they could not get up at exactly 07:00 am because of lack of practice but with respect to time their biological clock will update and it will let them get up at exact timing. This is not theoretical but this is rational. On the basis of my personal experience, I am writing this article.

Secondly, the student should fix a target such as if they want to finish the biology syllabus they should select a perfect textbook and they should divide the total number of pages on one month for example. Suppose there are 270 pages in the biology textbook then they should divide them into 60 such as 270/60 = 4.5. It means that they have to read only 4 and a half pages of biology textbook daily. This should be your plan. Now you have to prepare an action plan to execute your daily plan. Nowadays everyone has a laptop or smartphone. You can use your notepad for this purpose. Just the title in your note pad as "Daily Readings" then type your textbook name with the reading started to date. Then you have to note that how many pages have you studied. For example, if you have studied 5 pages then you should note it down like this:

1. Biology by XXX. Started date: 2021-02-24.

Page:     05/270

Tartget: 4.5 pages/day

In this, you can complete your very easily your textbook within 2 months or in less time. When you start your readings by following this method you can improve your reading skills. Although you have decided to read only 4.5 pages per day your persistency boosts your reading capacity and you would read more than five pages with the passage of time. For reading, there should be a specific timing in which you need to read only with full concentration. There is no need to memorize what you have studied but you need to read it very carefully. As you have fixed initially the bio-clock to get up early in the morning in this way you also need to fix the bio-clock for reading. Before going to bed you need to prepare the schedule for the next day and you you need to tell your mind about the fixed timing of your reading. Then almost 40 times tell your mind that you will the biology textbook tomorrow at 08:00 pm sharp. Then you have to go to bed. When you would get up according to your bio-clock meanwhile again you need to remind your mind about fix reading time. Then you need to start your schedule according to your plan. At any cost, you have to follow your own schedule except for the very important work you need to do. I am pretty sure that it would completely change your habit.
